Processing time and status
What we can influence, what we cannot, and how to check whether your number is active.
At FURS
FURS does not publish a binding processing time for registrations of economic operators from outside the EU. The authority alone determines the actual time. FURS only accepts complete applications with all required documents.
With us
After receipt of payment we usually check and submit your application within one working day. If a document is missing, unclear or older than three months, we contact you first.
Originals and translations
FURS asks for original documents or certified copies and may require an official English translation. We submit a scan by e-mail and offer to forward the original by post. If FURS asks for it, the postal route adds to the time.
Check the status
As soon as the number has been assigned it appears in the EU register: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/dds2/eos/eori_validation.jsp
FURS sends the information on the assigned number by e-mail to the address stated in the application. If it reaches us as your representative, we forward it to you right away.
Changes later on
On the application form you declare that changes of the registered data will be reported to FURS with the appropriate documents as soon as possible.
