Who is registered in Slovenia?

The Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) registers economic operators that are not established in the EU. The competent office is the Financial Office Kranj, TARIC department, in Jesenice. Only legal persons and associations of persons can be registered; natural persons cannot.

Information on the form

• Full name and, if used, short name
• Address of establishment and date of establishment
• Type of person: legal person or association of persons
• Customs identification numbers assigned in a third country, if any
• VAT identification numbers assigned by EU member states, if any
• Contact person with telephone number and e-mail address
• Consent or refusal regarding publication of name and address in the EU register

Documents

• Document from the competent authority of your country (usually a register extract) with name, address, date of establishment and type of person, not older than three months; FURS asks for originals or certified copies
• Letter of authorisation if the application is signed or submitted by an authorised person
• For authorised TIR carnet holders: a copy of the TIR carnet with the legible identification number of the holder
• Official English translation of the documents if FURS requires it

How the application is made

FURS provides an application form in English as a Word document. The completed and signed form is sent with the documents to the Financial Office Kranj. FURS sends the information on the assigned number to the e-mail address stated in the application.
